Built to WCAG 2.2 AA, and checked by hand.
The standard we aim for
This site is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That includes semantic landmarks and headings, a skip-to-content link, visible focus styles, colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, labelled form fields, and support for keyboard-only navigation.
Motion and preferences
Animations on this site are subtle by default and are further reduced or removed if your system is set to prefer reduced motion. The site also offers a light and dark theme, and remembers your choice on this device only.
What has been checked
Before publishing, this site was checked by hand against a WCAG 2.2 AA checklist covering landmarks, heading order, keyboard operation, focus visibility, colour contrast, form labelling, alt text and reduced motion, and reviewed in a real browser at mobile, tablet and desktop widths. It has not yet had a full independent accessibility audit; that is on the list of assurance work still to be commissioned, alongside an independent security test.
